Kushlu Khan, Bahram-i Ayba

Kushlu Khan, Bahram-i Ayba
(?-1327)
His father was one of the companions of 'Ala al-Din Khalji (1296-1316). Kushlu him-self was the muqti' of Uchch at the time of Ghazi Mulik's revolt against Khusrau Shah (1320). For his important role in the over-throw of Khusrau Shah, Kushlu Khan continued to serve in important positions under the first two Tughlaq sultans until he revolted against Muhammad bin Tughlaq (1325-1351) in 1327. He was then hold-ing a posting in Sind, and Muhammad bin Tughlaq himself marched there to engage and kill him in that year.
